2024 Inductee – Ron Coote
Ron Coote turned the 14th rugby league Immortal in a ceremony on the SCG.
He performed in 9 grand finals in 11 seasons, and gained six of them – 4 with South Sydney and two after he crossed to Easts.
Talking on 9’s As we speak, Coote mentioned it was the primary of these 9 grand closing appearances he remembers probably the most, even when it was the primary of solely two he misplaced.
“That basically opened up what rugby league is all about to me,” he mentioned.
“I am very grateful to rugby league for what it is accomplished for me, and listening to my title final night time was one thing particular.
“I used to be actually honoured by it.”
